Education Community Support Group

The Education Community Support working group plays a vital role in Licking County. This group works to educate communities on the value of public education and the vital role that local taxpayers play in funding local education. With five Licking County school districts with levies on the ballot on November 2, the Education Community Support group will work those districts and their levy campaigns to pass those levies. The Education Community Support group also calls upon elected leaders to help understand school funding and stay abreast of the latest educational issues at the state house.

The Education Community Support group will meet again on:
Wed, Sept. 22 and Wed, Oct. 20 from 5:30-6:30p.m. at OSUN in theSleight Room.

Please consider joining this group and supporting local public education!

Accomplishment Review & Phase II Meeting

Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in the daily grind and forget the good things happening in our own communities. Often, there is success right in front of us, but we are too busy to see it, or not aware of what success looks like. Tomorrow, May 25, Community Capitalism will try to slow down for an hour or so to celebrate the successes of more than a year of grassroots community efforts. Many people worked diligently to make sure that their own communities, and Licking County as a whole, continue to prosper. Please consider joining Licking County Community Capitalism at its Accomplishment Review/Phase II meeting on Tuesday, May 25 at 7:00 p.m. at C-Tec's Adult Education Center (Rm. 4005) to celebrate community success and preview the good work to come. C-Tec is located at 150 Price Road, Newark, Ohio 43055.
